How You May Support This Ministry
Jesus the Christ offered us the major law which governs personal prosperity. He said, “Give and it shall be given to you; good measure shaken down and running over……” We at Unity Church Of Austin believe sincerely that is the truth about giving so we practice as a church body giving a tithe (ten percent) of all we receive so that others may also participate in our prosperity.We share with Silent Unity, other Unity churches and ministers, local non-profit groups who assist people in need of subsistence, and care facilities and services to programs for children and seniors. Two of our special projects are: (1) providing a playground for adults with Down’s syndrome and other disabilities, and (2) supporting an area residential home for children who because of family violence are unable to be placed in foster care or adopted.
We are a private, non-profit organization supported solely by our members and supportive friends. Our use of the money given to us is guided by a Finance Team which includes members of the congregation, our Board of Trustees and the Minister. Contributions are used to pay salaries, use of property, maintenance, utilities, all of our programs and those things necessary to support a serving, growing church. Recommendations for recipients of our tithing programs come from members.
