Youth of Unity (YOU)

you

Our church was founded in 1961 by Catherine Ponder, a minister who has become an internationally known author and lecturer on the principles of healing, prosperity and prayer. Those first Unity services were held in Austin's Driskill Hotel.

During the decades since, Unity Church of Austin has grown fed by the loving energy of the people who make Austin such a unique community. Today Unity Church hold services in south Austin at Holy Cross Lutheran Church located at 4622 S. Lamar Blvd. However, we are rapidly dong what is necessary to renovate and complete a new church facility at 5501, 290W. Austin.

Over the years Unity's ministry in Austin has expanded to embrace the community's diversity and passion for life, blessing its members with an abundance of love, hope, and help for their lives.

Following the successful ministries of several Unity Pastors in our del Curto location, Rev. Analea Rawson was chosen to lead the church. Under her guidance the church has made significant changes. The old property on S. Lamar was sold and a new building was purchased. While completion date has not been confirmed, the entire congregation is excited about acquiring a new church home which offers us space, beauty, parking and accessability.

We are drawing to us new members who are also excited about growing a new and vital church with many ministries.  We continue to reach out into the community through local
television, but primarily through Google’s Videos.  All services are recorded and may be observed via video there. Also services are recorded and attached to our web site and available for down loading.

We invite you to experience a Sunday Celebration Service with Rev. Analea Rawson. Services are at 1 p.m.
