Our volunteers are the “Heart” of our church community, insuring that our facilities and materials are well prepared, that our events run smoothly, that our children are safe and nurtured, that our music is inspiring, that our prayers are supported, our bodies/minds are healthy and that the decisions that affect our organizational growth, finances and leadership are made prayerfully, intelligently and with integrity.
There's always opportunity to volunteer for service at Unity Church of Austin. Clip boards are in the courtyard every Sunday to give you a chance to sign up. If you have an idea for service that's not on our list be sure to talk with Rev. Rawson or a member of the church staff.
Pastoral Assistants Team
The new Pastoral Assistants Team replaces our former Chaplains Group. Members support the minister in prayer and assist in providing pastoral care to the church body, doing home and hospital visits and assisting with weddings and funerals, as well as assisting with Communion and other special occasion religious services and ceremonies.

Welcome Ministry
The Welcome Ministry ensures that people who visit us on Sunday are recognized, welcomed, introduced, and invited to return. The team consists of ten members with strong consciousnesses of hospitality, who offer the love of God to all newcomers to our congregation. Once a month, two members of the team and the Minister entertain all newcomers with a Sunday brunch. If you would like to join the Welcome Team, please let the church staff know.
